ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Aniket Marathe, a passionate filmmaker, film editor, and illustrator dedicated to crafting compelling stories through the medium of film.I graduated from CRAFT Film School, New Delhi, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Filmmaking. During my time there, I focused on Screenplay Writing, Film Editing, Cinematography, and Film Studies, enhancing my skills and knowledge in these areas. Further, I actively pursued online courses, watched critically acclaimed films, and explored literature along with gaining exposure to practical technicalities.

Hailing from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, my interests revolve around Filmmaking, Film Editing, Creative Writing, Illustrating, and Graphic Designing. What ties all these interests together is storytelling which I hold in high regard. Every single frame presents an opportunity for me to tell different stories.

Experience

I have over 3 years of experience in the creative industry as an editor. During this time, I've edited more than 200 long and short video content pieces. I've had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple organizations, including agencies like Brandish Media and Entertainment and Holy Cow Home Productions.In addition to editing, I've also assisted filmmaker Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, where I worked as an assistant writer and pre-viz editor for his upcoming projects. Additionally, I've contributed to editing and writing short content for the content creation company 'The Indian Thing O'. These experiences have provided me with significant exposure to the creative industry, and I continuously keep myself updated with the latest technology and trends.

Ultimately, my aspiration is to direct my own film, one that celebrates our rich ethnic heritage.

Last but not the Least

During my free time, you'll find me involved in reading history, exploring Indian languages and culture, illustrating, and moving on worldly adventures—all of which enrich my creative process.Additionally, I own a YouTube channel called 'Pulkeshin Storytellers', which serves as a platform for sharing my stories with a wider audience. As a hobby and my passion for Indian history, I have created an Instagram page (@indoistry) that delivers educational facts to history buffs across India using simple, beautiful, and thought-provoking infographics.
